For Advanced Methods class, we learned how to write an effective council report and present it in person. We were asked to pick a consultant’s report from any city which uses an advanced method and summarize it, focused on the methodology. We also proposed a program of work for future study and planning.
I chose the 2024 Not-for-Profit study from the City of Nanaimo, which used an Economic Impact Analysis as it’s advanced method.
